long time coming...

This past evening I took my friend, karalyn, out to dinner to celebrate her birthday - oct. 22nd was the actual day, but being I had plans... We went to our usual restaurant of choice, Ras Kassa - the best ethiopian restaurant I've personally been to, at 2111 30th St. in boulder. It's been a long time coming. We were enjoying samosas and waiting for the main course consisting of butternut squash and beef tips in mango sauce, trying to remember the last time we had gotten together for dinner. Turns out, we believe it to be my birthday over a year ago. Much too long, we decided; but with her living up in the mountains and me now in denver, it is difficult to get together, especially when we both use public transportation to get to and from work.
