wow. it's been a long long time since i've blogged. not sure if it's a lack of time, or me just being lazy. probably the latter... and that i sometimes i don't feel like i have anything really to say.

as is the case now. i have not much to say. just realized it's been almost a year since i've posted anything here.

so. now there is a post.

maybe it'll jump start my blogging again.

old, or lack of exercise?

i'm not sure if i'm getting older or if it's due to a lack of exercise... but during the past week and a half, i've been having rotator cuff issues. it feels as if i have deeply bruised my collarbone right at the rotator cuff or pulled/ overexerted the muscles and ligaments around the shoulder. and just this morning as i was out in the field taking some saddle measurements, i strained something just below my shoulder blade.

life as a younger brother

so i'm pleased to announce the arrival of ronin kuo. he was born on 03.25.07, at 7:16am. he weighed in at 8lbs 1.7oz. he arrived via a natural birth that was handled extremely well by his mom.
since a has his own blog, it's only right to give r his blog. so. in the next few days or weeks, i'll be starting up a blog for him. but, until then, i'll post a couple of picture of him here

new glasses

it's been two years since my last eye exam. it'd put it off longer, except my frames broke back in november, and for the past few months, i've just been supergluing the arm back on if it snaps off due to rough housing with the kiddo. i also signed up for a vision plan through work, so i had to wait until the 1st of the year for it to kick in. of course, the 1st comes and goes and my parents come and go (which would have been an opportune time to get my eye exam), but finally i set the appointment, got my eye exam and a new pair of glasses. after just over a week, they arrived at the optometrist's office monday and we picked them up. thanks to insurance, i only paid about 1/3rd the total cost.
